Gutters For Longleaf Village Homes in Rincon, GA
Brand-new D.R. Horton homes off Goshen Road. Small lots and slab foundations make it worth getting the water off the roof and away from the house early.
New Homes on Small Lots
Longleaf Village is a D.R. Horton community off Goshen Road, south of downtown Rincon. It is new. Listings show homes finished in 2025 and more still under construction in 2026, on streets like Ponderosa Loop, Fraser Lane and Mugo Way. D.R. Horton offers eight plans here, from small one-story cottages around 1,200 square feet to two-story, five-bedroom homes around 2,400.
Lots are compact. One sold home on Fraser Lane sat on about 0.15 acre. On a lot that size, the houses are close together, and roof water that pours off the eaves has very little room to go anywhere but along the foundation or toward the house next door.

What The Builder Pages Leave Out
D.R. Horton’s community page lists the plans, the smart home package and the amenities. The listings we read cover vinyl siding, public water and sewer, and slab foundations. None of them mention gutters.
That is not unusual for new construction around here, and it does not mean your home has none. It means it is worth checking what you actually got. If the back and sides of the house are bare, adding gutters for a new build is a one-day job, and it is cheapest to do before the first summer of storms washes out the new sod.

Gutter Services in Rincon
One crew handles all of it, from a single leaking corner to a full commercial system. Every job starts with a visit and a written estimate.
Request a Free EstimateSlab Homes And Splashback
These homes sit on slabs. Without gutters, water drops off the roof edge and lands right beside the slab, every storm, in the same line. Over time that line becomes a trench, the soil next to the slab stays wet, and mud splashes up onto the bottom of the vinyl. On a new house you see it first as a dirty band along the bottom of the siding.
A gutter catches that water, and a downspout with an extension sends it out into the yard. On small lots we pay close attention to downspouts on a small lot so the water does not end up in your neighbor’s yard or pooling between houses.
Ponds, Trails And Oaks
The community has a pond, a playground and a walking trail. Some backyards face the pond, and at least one listing on Ponderosa Loop described a wooded backyard with a big oak. Homes under trees get leaves in the back gutters, and gutter guards can keep them clear.
Longleaf Village has an HOA. If it reviews exterior changes, your written estimate will list the gutter color, size and profile. Homes here are zoned for Blandford Elementary. Start on our home page or call for a free estimate.

Questions We Hear a Lot
Does My D.R. Horton Home Come With Gutters?
Ask your sales agent what your contract includes. The community and listing pages we checked do not mention gutters at all. If yours has none, or only a few short runs, we can add the rest after closing.
Can You Put Gutters on a Cottage Plan?
Yes. Smaller one-story plans are some of the quickest jobs we do, often half a day. The gutters still need to be sized for the roof and the downspouts placed for the lot.
My Backyard Faces The Pond. Where Should The Water Go?
Out into the yard, spread out, not piped straight down the bank. We place extensions so the water soaks in instead of cutting a path toward the pond.
