New Mungo homes off Fort Howard Road with double front porches and bonus rooms. More rooflines means more places water has to be caught.
A New Neighborhood on Fort Howard Road
Dasher Creek is Mungo Homes’ new community in Rincon, about 2.7 miles out Fort Howard Road from Highway 21. Mungo opened sales in 2026 with 84 planned homesites, and the first homes on Goldeneye Drive and Redhead Avenue were finishing that year. Plans run from about 1,700 square feet to almost 3,800, and the larger ones have four to six bedrooms.
Rincon Elementary is about half a mile away and Lost Plantation is about three miles down the road. Mungo’s own page describes the homesites as having wooded views, with community ponds and a playground.

Double Porches, Bonus Rooms, More Rooflines
Mungo’s plans here feature double front porches and bonus rooms. Both add roofline. A two-level front porch has an upper roof that drains onto the lower one unless a gutter catches it, and the lower porch drains right onto the steps where people walk. A bonus room adds another small roof plane that usually empties onto the main roof.
Every one of those roofs needs a gutter sized for it and a downspout that takes the water somewhere sensible. On a house with this many rooflines, planning the downspouts that miss the irrigation matters as much as the gutters. We draw out where each one goes before we form anything.

Gutter Services in Rincon
One crew handles all of it, from a single leaking corner to a full commercial system. Every job starts with a visit and a written estimate.
Request a Free EstimateSod, Sprinklers And New Yards
New homes here are listed with sodded yards and an irrigation system. Fresh sod does not have roots to hold the soil yet, so a single downspout dumping in one spot can wash out a patch in the first few storms. We use extensions and splash blocks to spread the water and keep them clear of the sprinkler heads.
Lots vary. One listed home on Goldeneye Drive had a little over a quarter acre. That is enough room to move the water away from the house, as long as the downspouts are placed for it.
Check What Your Contract Includes
Mungo’s community page lists features but does not say anything about gutters. Ask your sales agent what is included. If the answer is partial or none, gutters for a new Mungo home are a one-day job, and they are worth doing before the first summer.
Dasher Creek has an HOA, and if it reviews exterior changes, your estimate will list the gutter color, size and profile. See our home page or call for a free estimate.
15-Year Warranty on New Installs

Questions We Hear a Lot
Do Gutters Come With a New Mungo Home?
Check your contract or ask the sales office. The community page we read lists plans and features but does not say whether gutters are included. If they are not, or only partly, we can add them once you close.
How Do You Handle a Double Front Porch?
Each porch roof gets its own gutter, and the upper one is usually tied into a downspout that runs past the lower porch to the ground. That keeps water from pouring onto the lower roof and the front steps.
Will a Downspout Hit My Sprinklers?
We look for the heads before we set extensions. New yards here come sodded with irrigation, so we route the water around the system instead of across it.
