Who Does The Work
Helder Castellanos has been installing gutters for ten years, and he still runs the crew himself. He comes out to measure, takes photos, writes the estimate, and inspects the finished install. Customers mention two things more than anything else: Helder was on site, and nobody pushed them to buy more than the house needed.
Rincon GA Gutter Installers is part of GutterXperts, Helder's family-owned gutter company in Hardeeville and Bluffton. Hardeeville is about 18 miles from Rincon, so the crew and the gutter trailer are close by.

Reviews From Helder's South Carolina Customers
Helder explained everything thoroughly, measured, took pics and importantly did not put any pressure on me to buy or upgrade… I could not recommend Helder and the Gutterxperts more.
Mark L., Beaufort County, SCGutter installation
Best gutters in Bluffton Area! Locally owned and operated and the owner is hands on. With the heavy rains in Beaufort and Jasper Counties, don't get caught with 5″ gutters. The Gutter Xperts install 6″ gutters and do a true seamless gutter.
Troy N., Bluffton, SCSeamless gutters
Sun City Bluffton house practically shines. Helder, the owner, inspects all work and ensures his customers satisfaction. Go with GutterExperts. You won't regret it.

Gutters in a Town That Keeps Growing
Rincon grew from 8,836 people in 2010 to 10,934 in 2020, and GDOT has plans to widen Highway 21 from SR 30 up to McCall Road to keep up. We work all over town: Lost Plantation around the golf course, Picket Fences off West 15th Street, Woodbury, and out Fort Howard Road past Rincon Elementary.
Most of the town’s housing is fairly new. The median home in Rincon was built around 2002, and close to four in ten went up between 2000 and 2009. That puts a lot of original builder gutters at 15 to 25 years old: 5-inch runs, spliced joints, and downspouts set wherever the corners happened to be. That’s the age when joints start dripping and hangers start backing out.
Storms, Debris, And Where The Water Goes
Effingham County takes a lot of water at once. Hurricane Matthew put 10 to 15 inches on parts of the county in a day in 2016. Debby added about 14 inches over three days in 2024. A month and a half later, after Helene, crews hauled more than 9,000 cubic yards of downed limbs and leaves out of Rincon alone. Plenty of it lands in gutters first.
Where the roof water lands matters here too. Rincon runs a stormwater utility that bills homes by impervious surface, and roofs count. The city’s own consultant has pointed to erosion problems around town. Downspouts that dump against a slab or wash out a yard are part of that, and they’re one of the cheapest things we fix.
What We Do on a Rincon Job
We measure every wall, form each straight run in the trailer at your house, and hang 6-inch gutters on hidden hangers screwed into solid fascia. Downspouts go where your lot can actually take the water. Helder walks the job before we leave. Questions We Get in Rincon
Where Are You Coming From?
Hardeeville, South Carolina, about 18 miles from Rincon. Helder sets the appointment with you directly.
What Size Gutters Should My House Have?
For most homes here, 6-inch. They carry a lot more water than the 5-inch gutters many builders put up, and Effingham County gets heavy rain. Tropical Storm Debby dropped about 14 inches on the county over three days in August 2024.
Do I Need a Permit For Gutters in Rincon?
Inside city limits, permits go through the City of Rincon Building and Zoning office at 302 S. Columbia Avenue, (912) 826-5996. Their permit list covers building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fences, pools and signs, and doesn't mention gutters. If your project is part of a remodel or new build, call them to confirm. Outside city limits, it's Effingham County Development Services in Springfield.
Do I Have to Pay a Deposit?
No. You get a free written estimate after we see the house, and payment is due when the work is done.
What Warranty Comes With New Gutters?
New installations carry a 15-year warranty. Helder gives you the written terms with your estimate.
What Affects The Price?
Total length of gutter, one story or two, how many corners and downspouts, the material, whether old gutters come down first, and whether you add guards.
